Ozone depletion has significant effects on human health in terms of skin cancers,cataracts and immune system.
This is due to an increase in UV intensity with the decrease in latitude. With enhanced UV-B radiation, research have shown that plant biomass and phytoplankon and zooplankton, in marine ecosystem, was affected.
