Group 6 Video 1 – The Concept behind Green House Gas Emissions

Greenhouse effect is a natural process where the Sun’s energy is trapped by greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide and water vapour. These gases absorb radiation, which makes the molecule vibrate and eventually releases the heat energy back to the atmosphere. Another gas molecule will absorb this heat and thus, the absorption-emission cycle repeats.
