Making of the rest of the garments

Sleeves, inspired by fish fins.

Material: Pleated polyester fabric.

Technique to create the effect:

1. Connect the pleats on one end tightly together using elastic thread.
2. On the other end, sew on bias tape.
3. Insert thick nylon thread into the bias tape and close off. Push as much nylon thread into the pocket as possible.
4. Dye: Polyester cannot absorb dyes like cotton. Instead, use fabric paint and rub it on the fabric till even. Then apply heat (hair dryer or iron with cover) till it sets.

 

Harem Pants

Material: Cheap (loose weave organza) for the hem and close weave organza for the waistband. Invisible zip.

Material: Spandex
