TimelineJS is an open-source tool that enables anyone to build visually rich, interactive timelines. They can be created using a Google Spreadsheet template. Media can also be from different sources, including Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Vimeo, Vine, Dailymotion, Google Maps, Wikipedia and SoundCloud. (Source)
