Description

Designing Cultures project aspires to a holistic preservation of Singaporean intangible cultural heritage. Rather than introducing new methods, it seeks to facilitate better coordination of existing approaches. “Designing Cultures” involves examining different perceived notions and levels of aesthetics, manifested in traditional historical Asian arts and crafts of the region. Using a variety of digital tools from VR, 3D printing and tracking Instagram, her tools and approaches are grounded on conceptual experimentations with the rich disciplines of visual communication and technology.
