Day 5 Reflection: Sonder

Day Five, Chiang Mai. Today was my last full day in Chiang Mai. It was also the most relaxing day of the 6 thus far. It started off with us visiting the Chiang Mai Tourism Authority before having the rest of the day to ourselves. We spent the next few hours having a slow lunch at Whole Earth Restaurant and had coffee at Café De Lamour followed by a great Thai massage. It felt like a good break after the hustle and bustle of the past few days.

In the evening we had planned to go for a Caberat show as a group of 6. Along the way though, more and more people were invited and by the time we went, we had reached 25 strong – more then half the USP cohort! However, despite the fun and laughter at the show, I had an underlying feeling similar to the first day that these ladyboys were just more horses that can count to ten.
