ARTS FOR GOOD is a unique collaboration between NTU Arts Festival (NAF) and Student Community Engagement, Student Affairs Office, that aims to marry the beauty of creative expression and doing good for the community. In collaboration with several social entrepreneurs and student bodies, NAF 2021 strives to raise awareness of serious societal issues like mental health and at the same time, bring you closer to communities in need through the arts. NAF is a special project dedicated to promoting artistic expression and fostering a culture of appreciation for different forms of arts.

Express yourself artfully through our immersive exhibitions such as the Kaleidoscope Installation and the Flower Wall. Relax and enjoy watching an Interactive Movie by Wee Kim Wee Paparazzi, nine specially curated Odyssee Documentaries or even live performances by our talented community! Want more? Come and join our Photography Contest to win film cameras and take part in our Lucky Draw to win a yacht trip!

Learn new skills like flower arrangement, hip hop, silkscreen printing and maybe even discover hidden talents at our hands-on workshops! All NAF workshops are free with a ‘Pay-as-you-wish’ element, where participants can decide on the amount of money they would like to pay at the end of these workshops. (All workshops conducted by NIE are also free but do not have a Pay-as-you-wish element.)

This year, we will also be collaborating closely with CAC Arts From The Heart (AFTH) to raise funds for our beneficiaries, the Singapore Cancer Society and the Singapore Association for Mental Health.

The arts has the power to transform, illuminate, educate, inspire and innovate. It can represent cultures (e.g. aboriginal art, batik etc.), bring people together and even heal. Let us celebrate the joyous nature of the arts, and ignite your passion for different art forms through free and diverse expressions of creativity. Join ARTS FOR GOOD and unearth your creativity within while giving back to the community!
