Hello again!
The more I learn about art, the more I find it essential to always practise my craft. Like everything else in life, practise, practise, practise. So I brought my sketchbook along during a little holiday last semester…
I drew any boat I spotted during our short cruise. Frankly, it was difficult to capture every detail as I had only about 15 to 20 seconds to observe each vessel before it zoomed past. ._.
Try to guess where I went from my post!
When we arrived, I sketched the first thing I saw – this Bird’s Nest Fern. Nothing impressive, I thought, so I decided to practise some more and draw other plants. I have totally no idea what these ones are.
Any professional botanist can help identify them?
And here’s the last sketch I did on the trip. It’s actually based on a picture in a book. Definitely need to work on drawing straighter lines, and I think I should start adding colour to my posts. 😀
Always good to bring out the COLOUR in our lives! Hehe.
