Food Poetry

Crackle. Crackle. Crackle.
Tea leaves burned;
In a fire nearby.

Whosh.
The wind howled;
The burnt tea leaves fell.

Clink. Clink. Clink.
The sound of boiling water;
In a kettle over an open fire.

Slurp. The discovery of tea as an beverage.
