I’m Michelle Dekkers from the Netherlands. I’m 21 years old and currently in my last year form my bachelor psychology of Tilburg university. I’ve been studying abroad in Singapore at Nanyang Technological University for the past months now.

I spent my spare time doing new things, because I’m always curious about things that are unknown to me. So, that’s why I like doing new things,travelling and going out of my confort zone. My other hobbies are gardening and photography. Besides that, I love to get coffee in nice cafes.

I chose this topic, because I recently heard about animal substance use in medicines. I couldn’t believe that these things still happen in this modern society. On top of that, I didn’t have the knowledge about this topic, so that’s why I wanted to know more about this. I think that in this situation people have a larger impact on nature than we might think.
