Jane Goodall Institute and Roots & Shoots were established in Singapore as well. Learning programs and public talks are provided to increase environmental awareness. JGI provides monkey walks to learn about Singapore’s long-tailed macaques. It also holds monkey guard training to teach people what is the proper way to behave in a potential conflict with the long-tailed macaques. It educates and informs people in order to a harmonious relationship between animals and humans.
