Hello stranger, and welcome to my blog! I’m Tiffany, a 3rd year student majoring in Psychology at the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. The focus of my blog is on the environmental problems in Ulaanbaatar (Capital of Mongolia), specifically on the heavy pollution and smog covering the city.
The reason I chose this as my topic, is because this is a dire issue that I think should be addressed quickly, and it is also a problem not well known by the general public. Before I met my partner who’s from Mongolia, I had no idea of the severity of the pollution levels there, and neither did any of my close friends or relatives. Therefore, when I was given the opportunity to construct a blog for my conservation psychology class, I found it the perfect opportunity for me to write and share about this issue so to raise awareness about Ulaanbaatar’s plight to others around the world.
