About Me

Hey there! I am Fidelia Beatrice, a 2nd-year Psychology student in NTU.

I am an Indonesian and my hometown is in Medan (ironically awarded as the dirtiest city in Indonesia). However, my family is currently residing in Tanjung Balai Karimun. I am always very mind blown by the amount of trash that Indonesians can generate daily, and even more taken aback by how much they do not care about their littering habit. Having taken Conservation Psychology and exploring the psyche behind Indonesians’ littering habits helped me to understand what could potentially be the reason behind the sea of trash in Indonesia. I hope that the exploration and explanation can help generate more ideas of how to tackle the habitual littering right to the root of the behavior.
