Despite the worrying light pollution situation, little has been done to raise awareness and manage its effects. In fact, during the historic Trump-Kim Summit, the Singapore Tourism Board even urged the tenants of the Income@Raffles building to leave their lights on throughout the nights of the summit in order to showcase the Marina Bay skyline to the international media.

Also, a couple of years ago during the Formula 1 Night Race, the Singapore Tourism Board made a similar request as well.
