Translating Conservation Effort into Results
Impact of Monetary Contribution
What Robert has achieved from his work with wildlife conservation is not only limited to activities such as guest appearances on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and engaging with his followers on his social media platforms. His push for conservation has also been translated into real and tangible results. As mentioned previously, Robert has raised funds amounting to tens of thousands through the auctioning of his canvas prints. The proceeds were then donated to the Wildlife Warrior Foundation to aid the organisation’s numerous conservation programs. These programs include:
- Saving Sumatran Tigers after they are injured by a snare or a poacher by transporting them to a veterinary clinic,
- Covering the fuel cost of anti-poaching patrol teams to protect Black Rhinoceros from poachers,
- Providing incident response teams with supplies of noise-makers such as fireworks to prevent Cambodian Elephants from raiding crops.
