Building Stronger Network

In 2017, Robert was sworn in as a member and ambassador of Scouts Queensland. Building on Robert’s passion for wildlife conservation, this partnership aims to inspire the younger generation to be more involved in wildlife and conservation. The partnership was a direct result of  Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors becoming the major charity partner of Scouts Queensland. Through Wildlife Warriors, initiatives such as the Wildlife Warrior’s Backyard Campout, Run on the Wild Side and Visionary Wildlife Warrior Program will engage about 15,000 Scouts across Queensland for Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors’ conservation efforts.

This partnership is beneficial for Robert as it has since enabled him to build a greater network to spread the conservation message. Even though 15,000 scouts might not come across as substantial, the effort of each and every individual would see to the enduring nature of conservation efforts for years to come. Using the bundle of chopstick analogy, the effort of a single person might be insignificant but the power of a collective effort can be translated into a greater positive result.
