These are the sisters to the diving saucer, and they can reach a depth of 500m (hence the formal name SP-500). It was used for scientific observation, photography & filming. As a result of this technology, there was rapid advancement in ocean understanding – especially underwater ecosystems. This understanding helped in figuring out better ways to protect them.
