Under this section, you can learn more about Jane Goodall’s background and how she eventually got to study Chimpanzees in Gombe Stream National Park. Goodall’s innate interest in Chimpanzees was shaped and encouraged by her family’s support since young. By a stroke of luck and hard work combined, she was eventually led to Dr. Louis Leakey, a famous archaeologist who studied human natural history, who hired her as his assistant to study Chimpanzees!
