To further understand the littering problem and to be able to come out with solutions to tackle this issue, it is important to analyze the factors that caused such behaviour to occur.

There are various reasons as to why littering behaviour occurs and in this segment, I will be classifying the causes into 2 main perspectives:

  1. Individual Perspective
  2. Social & Environmental Perspective
