I am Li Ling, a Year 2 Psychology undergraduate from Nanyang Technological University with a minor in Environmental Sustainability. While the two may seem like entirely different fields of study, Conservation Psychology unites my two areas of interests into one, bringing you this informative blog.

Having always been fascinated by the uniqueness of wildlife, their endangerment and extinction holds an important place in my heart ever since I was young. One of my fondest memories was doing a project on endangered animals when I was young and reading an interesting book about it. Although I could no longer remember much details of the project or even the title of the book, the feelings I felt then still lingered to this day.

In fact, I am currently a Nature Guide in the Nature Guiding Committee of EarthLink NTU, an environmental club. In my own way, I would like others to gain a better appreciation and learn more the flora and fauna around us. These are also the reasons why I decided to embark on this topic, bringing you insights of this pressing issue from my perspective.
