Oil spills, as you would imagine, is the spilling of oil into the sea. This can be caused by collision of more than 2 ships, or accidents in oil rigs at offshore oil wells, or sometimes even deliberately used as a war tactic. We will be focusing mainly on oil spills caused by tank collisions around Singapore. The following sub-pages will provide some introduction to oil and its significance to Singapore.
