Intervention is defined as the action or process of intervening (Oxford University Press, 2017). Thus, interventions can come in many forms and channels. Due to the extensiveness of the topic on solutions to the different types of threats which the Javan Rhinos are facing, i would only be focusing on solutions with relation to the poaching threat.
In respond to the Javan Rhino poaching threat, education, community management and government laws, regulations can work hand in hand for highest effectiveness in stopping the threat through deterrence against poaching and the acquisition and consumption of rhino related products. And as a side note, laws, community and education solutions are not mutually exclusive, and can work in harmony to strengthen the effectiveness of the interventions as a whole.
