Conclusion

In conclusion, I believe that the man-made and natural environments can co-exist to allow Singaporeans to stay connected with nature in the thriving city. Eventually, the primary motives of nature regardless they consist of built or natural elements are enhancing the well-being of the locals, conserving the biodiversity and reducing environmental problems in Singapore.

We need to understand that the non-natural environment like conventional parks, community gardens, buildings of biophilic design is not a substitute for the natural world. Perhaps we can see it as man-made elements of nature aiding to ease Singapore back into the wild. Thereby, they serve a different function but towards a common goal. And the truth is, we need both the built and natural world in Singapore.
