Humans and Guns

The largely dwindling populations of elephants is generally due to human activities. Even if we are not directly hunting elephants, some of our actions indirectly adversely affect the way elephants live, move and survive. Three main reasons are cited for the endangered status of elephants – poaching and the ivory trade, destruction of elephants’ habitats and the use of elephants in tourism.
