Zero Waste SG aims to promote education and engagement on the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) among individuals and households.

You can take action by practising the 3Rs in your daily lives. The sequence is important, as reduction waste from the start is usually the best way to minimise waste while recycling still has some impact on the environment and should be done last.

Reduce by eliminating or minimising the waste in the beginning.

Reuse by using the waste several times in its original form or for another purpose.

Recycle by sending the waste to be processed as a resource for new products

Zero Waste SG also collaborates with National Environmental Agency to put up posters to serve as prompts, and to educate the public on ways to practice the 3Rs. The promotion of the 3Rs could be supported by the placement of recycling bins island wide by NEA. So that the public can apply what they learn from Zero Waste SG in their daily lives.
