Interestingly, past research has shown that just by looking at the plants could help to mitigate some extent of the negative impacts of nature deprivation in an urbanized settings. The visual sensory component is a very important aspect of human. A study has found that office workers who had a view of plants from their work station took lesser sick leave. On the other hand, therapeutic horticultural has been successful in eliminating stress level in those who were involved in gardening activities. Therefore, having some form of interaction with nature can be beneficial enough to cope with daily stressors!
