Living in an urbanized city like Singapore, Singaporeans seldom get the chance to interact with nature. Fortunately for me, I am blessed to have the opportunity to have my childhood interconnected with nature through my backyard garden. The large mango trees, blooming flowers, decorative landscaping, and even the creepie crawlies( Bugs) brings back reminiscence of my childhood.

My journey with nature has been an eventful one, whether be it being mesmerize by its beauty or torment by unpleasant experience; such as skin allergies, and painful stings and bites. As a child, I clearly remembered my first bee sting that was as a result of a bee hive that was right outside my room window. However nature has played parental and intricate role in my life.

It is only up till recently that I got the opportunity to develop a strong relationship with feline cats~ Kai Kai and Jia Jia. They are stray cats that are adopted by a close friend of mine; and I am fortunate enough to be able to develop an intimate relationship with them. Jia Jia and Kai Kai have a special place in my life, and they have become part of my family. Through my interaction with the two most beautiful cats in the world, they have taught me many life lessons and have brought joy and laughter into my life

Though my interaction with nature and biodiversity, I do feel that ever individual have a part to play in conservation and knowing the true information about the things that are happening around us. Our destruction of our world and societies will lead to humans losing the very things that are reminiscence of our existence and intricate to our well being.

Only if we are armed with the right information and knowledge can we then save humanity and the rest of the world along with it. This spread of information and truth should start from me and you!
