Ecological Modernization

The term ecological modernization was coined in the 1980 is a joint intersection between ecology and economy. The intention is to merge competitive market economies together with environmental motives through the use of technological development. An ecologically modernized society supposedly produces less pollution and also utilizes resources more efficiently and effectively.
