“A dolphin’s smile is nature’s greatest deception. It creates the illusion that it is always happy.” – a quote by Richard O’Barry, the guy who made the dolphin entertainment industry a multi-billion industry, and is now on his search for redemption.

This quote struck me so hard, because dolphins always look so happy indeed, that it is impossible not to smile even just by looking at them! But after doing so much research on dolphins, I realise how much of a deception these smiles are.

This blog will tell you more about dolphins, and the threats that are endangering their survival in today’s world, elaborating more on the impact of captivity on these highly social and intelligent creatures. In addition, this blog serves to shed light on one of the most critically endangered species of dolphins in Southeast Asia, as well as the conservation efforts in place.
