NTU Library collaborated with NTU Graduate Student Association and Taylor & Francis to organise a talk titled “Making Your Research Have an Impact” last Monday, 4 November 2019. The event was held at The Hive, LHS-TR+53 to be closer to NTU researchers in the South Spine. We were happy to welcome participants from NBS, EEE, IGS, RSIS, SPMS, SSS, and WKW SCI; and also those who came all the way from North Spine – shout out to attendees from CEE, MAE, MSE, SBS, SCBE, and NIE.

Taylor & Francis Director of Researcher Development and Outreach, Dr Victoria Babbit, shared advice on how to increase the impact of research, from pre to post-publication stage. More than 40 postgraduate students from various disciplines learned valuable tips from how to write a good title and abstracts to strategies for the digital publishing environment.
