Big thanks are in due to Earthlink s Logistics, Welfare and Nature Guiding committees for organizing the Subcommittee Outing, 2013 to Butik Batok Nature Park this Saturday.Aimed to introduce different subcommittee members to each other, the outing was the perfect avenue to kick off our recess week as members ambled through the scenic park engaging in icebreaker games and learning more about nature. Names of fellow Earthlinkers and obscure plants were learned, monkeys were gawked at and a love for nature was nurtured. When asked about her experience at the outing, Lin Xi, a subcommittee member of Nature Guiding Portfolio seemed pleased with how things had turned out at the outing, saying, I can t believe people have been in such good spirits throughout this outing. Everyone seems to be interested in hearing what I have to say about the flaura and fauna we can find in this park. For those in attendance, the outing was not only a way to take in the visual delights of rich biodiversity, but also a crucial & unforgettable bonding experience.
