Sustainable living is a lifestyle that attempts to reduce the environmental footprints and the use of the Earth’s natural resources. Often termed as “net-zero living”, individuals can make conscious decisions to minimize their impact to the environment. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 11,12,13 and 14, Earthlink aims to raise awareness about sustainable living amongst the NTU community.

By making small changes in our daily routine, such as adopting the use of reusable items and minimising single-use disposables, we can work towards making a positive impact on the environment. Let’s take it one step at a time and commit to making conscious decisions that help reduce waste and conserve resources.

Affectionately known as “Pulau NTU”, the NTU campus is surrounded by rich biodiversity, both fauna and flora. We recognise the importance of preserving our natural resources and protecting the diverse array of species that call our campus home. Through our events, Earthlink aims to spread awareness and inspire action for wildlife conservation amongst members of the NTU community.

We are striving to develop a campus in nature by promoting greater understanding of our local wildlife, as well as to garner stronger support in human-wildlife coexistence.

NTU is home to many of our wildlife friends as it is located right beside the Western Catchment Reserve. Enjoy an ice cream treat on us while learning what it means to coexist.

There will also be fun games where you can find out what to do during wildlife encounters and stand a chance to win prizes!
