Campus Bloom
As part of our efforts to promote environmental awareness within the NTU community, the EarthLink Gardening Portfolio is launching the Campus Bloom Project 🌼
Small pots of flowering plants such as sunflowers, marigolds, daisies, and cosmos will be placed around campus, along the South Spine linkway. These plants are meant to brighten the campus and invite everyone to slow down, appreciate nature, and take part in caring for them as they grow from seeds to full bloom.
How you can participate
Getting involved is simple and flexible — no long-term commitment needed!
- Spot a Campus Bloom pot along the South Spine.
- Water the plant if it needs watering.
- Tick the watering checklist provided and record the time, so others know when it was last watered.
- Take a photo of the plant and upload it to our shared OneDrive folder to help document its growth.
Each pot will include:
- Clear instructions on how often to water
- Basic information about the flower type and its characteristics
At the end of the project, photos contributed by the community will be compiled into a time-lapse video, showcasing the plants’ journey from seed to bloom and celebrating the collective effort behind the initiative 🌱
📅 Launch date: Mid-January 2026
Stay tuned for more updates — and we hope you’ll be part of bringing Campus Bloom to life!
