The Jane Effect

The Jane Effect

Date: 2nd February 2015 (Monday)
Time: 12:45pm to 1:45pm
Venue: LT 19A

Looking to be inspired? Come down and listen to Dr. Jane Goodall, renowned primatologist, environmentalist and United Nations Messenger of Peace. Dr. Goodall is considered to be the world’s foremost expert on chimpanzees. Over 80 years of age now, she still travels an average of 300 days per year to speak to packed auditoriums about the threats facing chimpanzees, other environmental crises, and her reasons for hope that humankind will ultimately solve the problems it has imposed on the Earth.

Dr. Goodall is optimistic about our future and firmly believes that young people can make that difference, and we need to help them do so.

I work with young people around the world. They are breaking down the barriers we have built between cultures, religions, nations and the natural world. We need a critical mass of young people the next parents, teachers, lawyers, politicians, etc. who understand that while we need money to live, we should not live for money.

Come hear Dr Jane Goodall speak and be inspired by her to take action and make a difference!
