Hello everybody!

My name is Amanda. Basically, I took this course with the intention of knowing more about the influences of human behavior on the Earth’s natural resource. I was on exchange in Australia last semester and visited many “nature” places which Singapore does not offer. Places such as, the Great Barrier Reef, Fraser Island and even Tasmania and New Zealand. These are places known for its greenery and picturesque nature landscapes. That was the time when I realised that nature and the wildlife was something so beautiful. And I wanted to learn more about conservation psychology to as to what are the factors which causes natural resources to be utilised at a rate which is faster than it could replace itself as well as the factors which can hopefully prevent any further deterioration of Earth’s natural resources.
