Edmund Wee
Edmund Wee is the publisher of Epigram Books, which was set up in 2011 to champion Singapore literature. Since then, it has published over 450 titles, mainly fiction, from picture books and middle-grade titles to graphic novels and general fiction. In 2015, he launched the Epigram Books Fiction Prize (EBFP) for unpublished fiction from Singapore which has now also expanded to Southeast Asia. Prior to publishing, he was a psychologist with the government, then a journalist with The Straits Times before winning the Designer of the Year award in the 2008 President’s Design Awards, Singapore’s highest honour for design.
