Fong Hoe Fang
Fong Hoe Fang
Fong led Pagesetters Services from 1988 to 2019 in advertising and communication design work. In 1997, he started a literary arm for Pagesetters by establishing the Ethos Books imprint to writers from diverse backgrounds in the hope of helping to foster an environment in which Singapore writers and literature would thrive. Retired today, he started a pre-loved bookstore at the Old Airport Road Food Centre as a hawker assistant, and continues his quest to help Singaporeans tell compelling social stories. He hopes also to be able to ride a motorbike again – an activity forbidden by the family since his marriage more than 40 years ago.
