A white cat chases a red butterfly in a spiritual world and later discovers that he is actually dead.

So Long’s overall style adopts monochromatic, and red as the main colour to highlight the visual contrast which is deliberately designed to cooperate with the narration. It explores and reflects on the student’s thoughts on death and afterlife in her own culture.
