The Beast in the Woods

As part of his tribe’s rite of passage, a young hunter has to prove his worth by hunting down a great beast. However, amidst navigating the hunt and the rituals of his tribe, he finds himself increasingly troubled by what he has done. As he grapples with the gravity of his actions, he confronts his struggles with coming of age, self doubt, and reconciling one’s actions with one’s conscience.

Go Home

Using themes and motifs on home, identity, local music and friendship, Go Home follows the two characters’ journey in finding themselves in each other amidst the changing landscapes and their changing identities. Set against our local landscape, Go Home explores the struggle of finding a sense of belonging people living in Singapore may face and how they come to terms with it.

While we get busy living our lives and moving on with each phase, this film hopes to encapsulate and remind people of the little moments we share with our friends around us – the ones who have seen us grow and the ones we can find a home in no matter where we are.
