The Little Pariah

Whilst preparing for his church’s worship audition, a boy and his mother’s delicate relationship is tested when a repressed truth finally becomes inexcusable.

The Little Pariah is a film about teenage burgeoning sexuality, overt religious indoctrinations, and the lengths we go for the ones we love.

Twiddlesticks

This project is a conceptualization of a series called “Twiddlesticks”. The series consists of 6 episodes of 20-25 minutes each designed for over-the-top (OTT) platforms. The origins of this project arose from my desire to produce an adapted work. The book of choice was “Seeing Stars” by Christina Jones, which I first read when I was 13 years old. I purchased the book from a café’s second-hand collection of books either forgotten or donated by customers. I was drawn to its worn and well-read look, deriving that it must have been really enjoyed by its original reader to have been read so many times.

My goal was to create engaging content that provides a relaxing experience for viewers. I aimed to achieve this by creating a heart-warming, comedic, and offbeat show that features scenic views of rural England. Overall, the series concept is a product of my creative innovation and my ability to produce quality content that resonates with modern audiences.

The Cinematography of Writings On The Wall

This paper is a creative report on the cinematography of the film Writings On The Wall. It describes my intentions as a cinematographer, from the pre-production stage through to the execution (production), and through to the final look (post-production). With the use of main cinematography elements such as camera movement, lighting, and color theory, I hope to convey a distinct visual style. I aim to use these visual languages to bring the film’s underlying themes and bring the Director’s vision to life by incorporating these elements.

Take Me Home

Take Me Home is a film about a family who finds their grandmother dead in their car as they go on a road trip. While trying to find the most financially viable solution in order to bring grandma home, they decide to smuggle the body across the customs.

This is a film where a family explores what family really means to them only at the expense of losing a team member.
