Breakfast is a 2D animated film that revolves around a chance encounter at a coffee shop that brings together two childhood friends for a meal. However, one comes to the realisation that he and his old friend have drifted apart far more than he had realised. Using the imagery of a traditional Singaporean breakfast, Breakfast explores the fraying bond between two individuals.

Ash is a neurotic perfectionist while Zoe’s a spunky free-spirit, but that doesn’t stop them from supporting each other through school, dysfunctional families and the pains that come with growing up. Before going their separate ways as they graduate from secondary school, the girls embark on one last night of wild teenage misadventures and many firsts that will cement their friendship for a lifetime.
