Yadanar Zedi Hsin Pya Gu

Its original name is Yadana Zedi, and is one of the most famous pagodas of Sagaing. It was built by King Mohnyin of Inwa in AD 792, and enshrines five relics brought by two monks. After being repaired with figures of elephants at the base of the main wall and its entrance after an earthquake in 847, it was renamed as Yadana Zedi Sin-Mya-Shin.
