We asked a dancer to move to the sounds of speech instead of music. In these silent videos, you can tell which sounds she is dancing to… Or can you?
This quiz investigates links between sight, sound and performance. We want to uncover whether it is possible to translate abstract sounds from speech into movements viewers can understand. We need your help to find out! In this quiz you will see short clips of dance motions, and be asked to choose which sound the dancer is responding to, out of a small number of options.
Your participation will help researchers at NTU in Singapore uncover more about the connections between Brain, Language and Intersensory Perception.
This Quiz takes about 15 minutes to complete.
