Application Programming Interface (APIs) are taking over the world, yet most people don’t know what they are or that they use them daily. No matter whether you are a marketer, product manager or an entrepreneur, you can leverage on APIs to prototype features, automate tasks, and drastically cut down on product development time.
In the workshop, Miguel, the General Manager of Le Wagon, provided analogies to explain what APIs are, in a way that even students from non-tech backgrounds are able to understand. The webinar was full of real-life examples of web APIs which can be easily used and a tool called Zapier was introduced to the attendees to use to automate business tasks.
