Group 10 Video 2 – Implications of Carbohydrates on the Society

Carbohydrates serve as the primary energy source for our body and without carbohydrates, protein and stored fat will be metabolize and harmful by-products will be generated. Catabolism of these molecules will build up ketoacids which will lead to ketoacidosis.
