Group 22 Video 1 – Impact of Chemistry on Society

Water molecule is bent in shape, is a polar molecule; it has one side that is positively charged and one side that is negatively charged due to uneven distribution of electrons. Because of this, polar solution (hydrophilic) and non-polar solution (hydrophobic) are immersible.
