Group 13 Video 1 – Brief introduction to DNA & genetic engineering

In cell, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is stored in the nucleus. Nucleotides is the monomer of DNA, and it consist a sugar unit (deoxyribose), a base (adenine, guanine, cytosine, thymine) and a phosphate group.
DNA is a double stranded molecules, with its complement strand running in the opposite direction, this complementary pairing is due to base pairing (A-T) and (G-C).
