The JIP Team organizes different events every year to provide venue for knowledge and information sharing among the students, professors and industry collaborators. Technical workshops are also held regularly with the participation of international experts in the field. The JIP Network is also part of main presenters/ participants during the annual Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW).
Currently we have 3 main event categories:
- Quarterly Technical Workshops: the Technical Workshops are regularly being done by the JIP Organizing Team to create venue for the JIP network to meet, discuss and share information on the latest R&D and technologies on Offshore Renewables. Different technical presentations by visiting professors, industries and the students are being done.
- Annual Conferences: As part of our research and outreach initiatives, ERI@N organises an annual conference on renewable energy, at the Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW). The JIP network including its industry partners and students are among the major participants of this grand annual conference. It provides a platform and opportunity for researchers, engineers, policy makers and stakeholders to exchange knowledge through profound discussions and recent research presentations, and promotes international and multi-disciplinary collaboration. In 2013, we had the Asia Future Energy Forum (AFEF), Asia Clean Energy Summit in 2014 and 2015 and for 2016, ERI@N is organizing the Asian Wave and Tidal Energy Conference (AWTEC).
- Seminars and Others: JIP gives opportunity for its students and industry partners to meet and have fruitful discussion with prominent experts, professors and academicians from offshore renewable energy field. Regular seminars and workshops are being organized for this endeavor.
