Here I mention 2 historical events where fashion has affected nature in adverse ways. The first event illustrates an obvious impact toward non-human nature, but also shows how we as consumers can shift practices in a positive direction. The second example demonstrates the unfortunate and irreversible outcomes that can occur if we continue with our current practices.
