Personally, with a clearer understanding of the illegal rhino products trade and also about poaching, i have decided to adopt humanistic value towards the rhino species and will commit myself in staying vigilant in avoiding rhino related products so as not to contribute to the process of harming rhinos.
Collectively, i am creating this blog in hope that the dissemination of Javan Rhino awareness can reach a greater audience that might not have being exposed to related information before. As no global conservation issue can be solve by a single person or a single group, one would understand the importance that extensive social connections and actual efforts has to play in order to brave against counteracting anti-conservation trends.
In addition, it is not an easy road to adopt the title of a conservationist, and no matter how many times you fail, what is of more importance is whether one continue to persist and try different solutions at times and also develop an openness to change which would allow one to explore new boundaries and be more open to different type and ways of conservation efforts.
Well, this is only but a small fraction of my journey, and i have lots more to learn, not only in the field of conservation psychology, but also on conservation and environmental education as well.
